Ron Paul has Never Met an Evil He hasn’t Sympathized With

As a Jew and a grandson of Holocaust survivors, I had been horrified to discover an interview in which Ron Paul had stated that if he would’ve been president during the holocaust he wouldn't have intervened despite the tens of millions of men, women, and children the Nazis had slaughtered.

Paul’s shocking remarks had not been an isolated incident complete with profuse apologies. They are one tiny chapter amongst countless similarly vile comments. Just a couple of days ago, in an interview conducted last Friday, Paul had announced that one must have empathy with … Mahmoud Ahmadinejad! He then went on to “explain” that Ahmadinejad isn’t seeking a fight with the Western World, and that it’s merely a concoction by those who wish to engage him in war. Has he never heard Ahmadinejad blast America and the free western world, clearly stating his intentions to wipe out Israel and all infidels?

Many view Ron Paul as simply naïve or as nuts and dismiss him and his rhetoric in the manner one does to a buzzing fly. It must be clear that he is not simply naïve or nuts, but evil. He led racist and anti-Semitic newsletters for many years, with the intentions of his actions to be so. He has often told aides that he “wishes Israel didn’t exist.” Sounds like Ahmadinejad himself, no? No wonder he feels empathy for him!

Ron Paul’s warped sense of good and evil seems to manifest itself amongst his supporters who’ve adopted a weird line of attack against Rick Santorum. They warn voters in ominous comments that electing Santorum to the presidency is a guarantee for a World War III, while voting for Ron Paul will bring peace upon the world.

They appear utterly ignorant of the events which had caused World War II to have become the monster war that it was - having led to the deaths of over fifty million people. When Hitler rose to power and built a powerful army despite it having violated the Treaty of Versailles, the world, weary of war, pretended not to notice, hoping to avoid a confrontation.

Even after the Nazis intentions became clear after the annexation of Austria, the European leaders attempted appeasement via Sudetenland instead of halting them in their tracks. Chamberlain, the British Prime Minister, explained his avoidance of war saying that war results only in losers and in no winners, while the U.S. engaged in isolationism and turned a blind eye to Europe. Only after the Nazi beast has grown to monstrous proportions, gobbling up country after country, did Great Britain and France declare war on Germany. At that point though, the German army had already morphed into a strong and organized force which couldn’t be defeated so easily.

The U.S. continued to remain out of the war while watching the world turn upside-down until it came under direct attack by the Japanese, Germany’s ally. The Pearl Harbor bombings resulted in 21 Navy ships sunk or damaged, over 188 U.S. aircraft destroyed, over 2,400 Americans dead, and many more injured. This jerked the U.S. out of their isolationism, declaring war against an enemy whose size and power had vastly increased during the five years it faced zero or little opposition.

The U.S. had followed exactly the type of policy that Ron Paul promotes and promises to enforce, and that has led not only to the deaths of thousands at Pearl Harbor but to an extended and extremely difficult war to fight. Instead of defeating the German army in their homeland and having to liberate one or two countries they had invaded, battles were held across three continents, spanning most of Europe, chunks of Asia, and portions in Africa.

And Paul supporters say that precisely a Santorum presidency, who will not allow evil to mushroom out of control, will lead to a World War III?

Notable amongst the many indefensible remarks made by Ron Paul was his sharp rebuke to the military and Obama administration after news of Osama Bin Laden’s death was publicized and celebrated across the country. Instead of joining the jubilant masses, Paul bemoaned the successful operation and criticized the government in performing an act which didn’t respect the rule of the law according to Paul’s interpretations, asking whether we would’ve done the same had he been hiding in London.

Is there even hope to penetrate Paul’s skull that evil people are in existence very much like good people, and that evil needs to be handled differently than good? It doesn’t seem like it. Never mind that he hadn’t felt it necessary to express his condolences to the families of the 9/11 victims, save perhaps when he used them to condemn the U.S. government as responsible for the heinous actions of the terrorists. Ron Paul’s conscience, if he has one, was more disturbed over the death of Osama Bin Laden than that this evil monster’s life hadn’t been brought to an end a couple of decades earlier before he would’ve had a chance to inflict death and damage to thousands via 9/11 and other bombings across the world.

Ron Paul’s thinking is terribly wrong, for he considers those who sympathize with evil as unrelated to evil. The truth though, as Bush had outlined in his state of the union speech, is that one cannot be neutral in the fight against evil. One is either for evil or against it. If one’s sympathy for evil overrides the sympathy he feels for the victims, than that person is evil itself. Ron Paul has never decried acts of terror performed against ambassadors, children and innocent civilians who were riding busses, walking streets and minding their own business. Nor has he felt it necessary to condemn the Texas Fort Hood shooter or similar incidents. His behavior had been quite the contrary. Ron Paul has always taken the side of evil and terrorists, finding ridiculous excuses to explain away their horrific actions and for turning the villains into victims.

When Ron Paul preaches his anti-war rhetoric, he’s not simply against attacking other countries before they attack us. He promotes closing the CIA and FBI leaving a nation with no intelligence to gather information about possible attacks. That’s not defending liberty, despite his claims. Such action is irresponsible behavior which can result in the infringement of liberty and life of many U.S. civilians on American soil through acts of terror our intelligence regularly intercepts.

Simply put, Paul wants to shrink and weaken the entire U.S. defense, leaving the greatest bastion of liberty defenseless in the face of evil.

Whenever Obama demands we ask Osama whether his Foreign Policy is effective, We'll just Ask The Drone

The Obama administration has been boasting non-stop over the deaths of Osama Bin Laden and other top Al Qaeda leaders as though Obama was the one who actually raided the building or participated in any of the other operations. In a recent email, the Democratic Party reminded the recipients that “Obama killed Osama” and the standard reply to all criticism from the right regarding his awful foreign policies is a conceited, ask Osama whether or not Obama is a foreign policy expert.”

On top of all the outright boasting, a movie detailing the Bin Laden raid is “coincidentally” scheduled for release several weeks prior to the 2012 elections.

Although Obama simply can't stop patting himself on the back for the successful operation, the credit belongs to the military, intelligence, and navy SEAL's, as Santorum and others have bluntly pointed out. America had built a great military which spent a complete decade tracking down Osama, and it was simply Obama's luck that they'd succeeded under his presidency. Their success actually came despite Obama and the limits the Obama administration has placed upon the military, not because of Obama. Obama, though, remains oblivious to the facts, and continues to take all the credit for himself.

Well, last week Obama committed a most ludicrous act and if he wouldn't be the president of this country he would've surely been charged with espionage, for there simply is no other word to describe the path Obama chose to follow last week.

Who would have ever dreamed that the president of the United States of America would opt to ignore all three options which were available for him which would've destroyed the drone and prevented crucial information from falling into enemy's hands? Did Obama really believe that pleading on his hands and knees would frighten Ahmadinejad into returning the drone, rather than grabbing the never-again-opportunity of exploiting America's most sophisticated radar-detect-less drone? Of course Ahmadinejad laughed off Obama's request since evil only understand the language of threats and force. Much the same way he continues his efforts in attaining nuclear weapons despite Obama's and the U.N.'s protests.

Obama's purposeful neglect of the surveillance drone and of U.S. military secrets should not be allowed to slip off the radar. His acts of treason should be hounded and pounded upon throughout the upcoming election until every single American is made aware of Obama's disregard for his country and his endless appeasement to enemy countries, which have weakened and damaged America's image across the globe. Not only has he destroyed the American economy, but he has allowed our military secrets to enter the hands of our enemies.

One can sum up Obama's incompetent foreign policy agenda with one sentence; “let us ask the drone which was left intact for the Iranians to hand over to Russia whether we can afford for more years of Obama's policies.”

Six British Embassy Employees Taken Hostage by Iranian Students Released After Two Hours

Obama must have breathed a sigh of relief audible throughout the entire White House at receiving the news of their release.

Yes, the hostages were British and not American, but the effects of a prolonged story would've further reconfirmed the image of Obama relieving Carter of the title "Worst U.S. President Ever." Not that Obama hasn't upstaged Carter for the title even with this story ending positively after a few short hours. He's beat him to it a long, long time ago, actually within the first hundred days of his presidency with the passage of his monstrous stimulus.

Never mind Obamacare and the rest of his luggage.

Here's the drama of this morning in a nutshell for those of you who have missed it or received only some murky details, as reported by The Daily Caller.

Hard-line Iranian students stormed the embassy in Tehran on Tuesday, bringing down the Union Jack flag, burning an embassy vehicle and throwing documents from windows in scenes reminiscent of the 1979 attack on the U.S. embassy there.

As mentioned above, six employees were taken hostage but were released after two hours after the Iranian police, who had been standing by all this time, finally intervened. 

 
Obama has condemned Iran (finally!) and British Foreign Minister William Hague said amongst others that the British hold the Iranian government responsible for the storming of its embassy, and warned that there would be "further and serious consequences."

In other news regarding Iran, an explosion occurred yesterday at a nuclear plant causing serious destruction. This explosion follows an explosion that occurred two weeks ago at the site of another nuclear plant which satellite images show to be totally demolished.

Governor Sarah Palin Ahead of the Game Once Again, Surprised?

The IAEA will be releasing their quarterly report later this week in which new evidence will be provided that Iran’s nuclear programs are geared towards building nuclear weapons despite Ahmadinejad’s peaceful claims. Their research in nuclear missile technology and the fact that they’ve been enriching uranium at a far quicker pace than necessary for peaceful means is a clear indication of the program’s true purpose.

The IAEA report is also expected to say that the activity is taking place at a facility in Qom, deep in a mountainside, that could within months be fortified against conventional weaponry. Some of it may already be out of the reach of missiles. This serious piece of information has led to increased discussions between the U.S. and Great Britain whether to use military force against Iran before it is too late, as reported by Canada and The Guardian, both non-USA media agencies.

Although The Guardian claims that Obama’s reelection won’t play a role in the decision, given that his reelection has been the key factor in all other major decisions he’s faced, it most definitely will. So the serious question Obama now faces is not whether Iran should be stopped before becoming a nuclear power, but whether it is worth it to upset his liberal base once again in exchange for receiving support of the average American.

Sounds familiar for some? Here’s why. In February of 2010, Governor Palin had said the following during an interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday.

WALLACE: I know that three years is an eternity in politics. But how hard do you think President Obama will be to defeat in 2012?

PALIN: It depends on a few things. Say he played, and I got this from Buchanan, reading one of his columns the other day. Say he played the war card. Say he decided to declare war on Iran, or decided to really come out and do whatever he could to support Israel, which I would like him to do. But that changes the dynamics in what we can assume is going to happen between now and three years. Because I think if the election were today, I do not think Obama would be re-elected.

Whether Obama will or won’t bomb Iran, the very idea that bombing Iran has become a topic of serious discussion across the globe and will continue to be so during the year of Obama’s reelection, sure proves to all once again Palin’s ability to pinpoint issues and their solutions way before anyone else. 


  

The Ideology of Emotions vs. the Ideology of Reason

Throughout world history liberalism has caused horrific harm to countless countries financially, domestically, and otherwise. Traveling through time or even through the history of America will result in with enough evidence to fill up volumes of encyclopedia-sized tomes. It is actually not necessary to glance back any further than the last couple of years in order to examine the results of liberals in power. The Obama administration has weakened and destructed every positive aspect of the country in which Americans have prided themselves for generations, all in the name of compassion, care, hope and change without any real solutions to solve the problems plaguing this country.

His actions are similar to the OWS protestors who’ve got some nice-sounding slogans and have caused others to identify with them emotionally, but are lacking actual solutions and the ability to allow brains override emotions.

What is the motive Occupy Wall Street protestors? Do they want to shut down all businesses? Only big businesses? What will cause them to be satisfied? Do they want the rich to become paupers? Do they wish to sit in fancy offices on swivel chairs as executives for multi-millionaire corporations with their heads bent over long sheets of figures for hours at an end? These people are clueless in how to continue past their emotions of jealously and anger, yet the entire liberal movement from the President and down has endorsed and supported these protestors with ACORN actually providing cash for some so that they participate in the protests.

Obama’s seemingly hasty decision to back the protestors can be understood when remembering that liberals operate solely upon their emotions. If they see someone’s upset, fighting for their rights etc. then those people must be supported ignoring the knowledge that it may cause more harm than good. This often results in unwise choices and puzzling decisions to those who don’t allow emotions to get the better of them, and is what Obama’s foreign policy has been dictated by; emotions.

In Egypt, a Prime Minister of many years was somewhat of a dictator and totalitarian, but not the excessively harsh type who brutally killed thousands of civilians in unmarked mass graves. He would ensure he won the elections (much like Putin in Russia) and was often forced to rule with a tough thumb due to the constant rumblings by Islamic extremists who loathed his positive relationship with America and Israel. The U.S. aided Egypt, its ally, monetarily and otherwise, and helped them develop an impressive and powerful army since Egypt was a rarity in the Muslim world and the Middle East (excluding Israel of course.) Egypt was a Muslim country who actually suppressed terror and helped keep the entire Middle Eastern region somewhat stable and at peace, unlike Syria, Iran and other Arabic countries.

What was Obama’s reaction when Mubarak faced protestors who wished to force him out of power? He dumped him and celebrated his downfall! Why? Because he was overcome with emotion by the opposition people who had chanted for freedom, change and lots of other positive slogans. The information that many of these fighters were Islamic extremists who wish to take control of the country via “democratic elections” didn’t matter, since these people cried for liberty. 

How can anyone be assured that the new leadership won’t be more of the same, in addition to being hostile to the U.S. and adding tension to the Middle East? The Muslim Brotherhood who is feared will eventually receive the power, has expressed their intention to govern strictly according to Sharia Law. Even if the unlikely occurs and the extremists don’t manage to take control via “the elections” a few months down the line, they won’t rest until they ensure that they gain control over the country, as we’ve seen with Hamas in Gaza. Although 75% of the country supports Sharia Law, the results in other countries have proven that it will lead to the oppression of women and all non-Muslims.

Dennis Prager had explained how history has proven the last several decades that all change in Muslim countries resulted in less democracy, increased extremism, and worse living conditions despite what promised previously. Despite the evidence, instead of carefully researching the opposition before throwing his support behind them, Obama has behaved recklessly and dangerously.

Let’s roll back the time with thirty three years. The Shah was the moderate ruler of Iran, an ally, and a tough leader against those who wished to promote extremism and terror. When the extremists took to the streets in an attempt to overthrow the Shah, Jimmy Carter, president at the time, threw our former ally under the bus. 

Carter’s weak stance on foreign policy encouraged the radical Islamists to overthrow the Shah’s rule and then dare overtake the American embassy and hold hostage 52 Americans for 444 days. Ayatollah Khomeini, who took control of the masses, silenced the opposition, ruled according to Sharia Law, and led Iran with a tough fist. Now, thirty plus years later, the current “president” Ahmadinejad is actively aiding terrorism across the globe, spouts dangerous anti-democracy threats, and is in the process of creating nuclear power aka nuclear weapons.

One would think America would look back at history and learn from past mistakes, but with Obama at its helm his sympathy for the protestors overrode everything else.

The assassination of Gaddafi by U.S. backed rebels may have resulted in the eradication of some evil, yet in its stead greater evil is threatening to take his place. Ever since Bush attacked Iraq and Gaddafi had given up his chemical and nuclear programs, his global presence had changed from a threatening negative force to a neutral figure. Out of fear from U.S. repercussions he halted his support for terrorism and paid a total of billion dollars to the families of those killed in the Lockerbie bombing. Yes, Gaddafi was a dictator and ruled with an iron fist, but he hadn’t gassed or murdered tens of thousands of civilians throughout his dictatorship as Saddam Hussein has done, and which the left has conveniently forgotten in their opposition to the Iraqi War. 

Only the last several months when protestors wreaked havoc across the country did he attempt to squelch their power using extreme force, an act which I can’t see a single current Muslim leaders not engaging in. One has got to be extremely naïve to believe that Saudi Arabia or even the new Libyan leader wouldn’t treat rebels attempting to overtake the country in a similar manner.

Anyone remember Obama’s response to the students in Iran seeking true freedom and protesting against the brute Ahmadinejad? Iran is currently ruled by a freedom-suppressing, Sharia imposing, democracy-hating, terrorist sponsor. A change in governing isn’t likely to make it worse for either the Iranian people or the rest of the country. Libya, though, is now very likely to fall into the hands of Islamic extremists who will impose Sharia law, suppress women’s rights, revert to sponsoring and supporting Libya will now be ruled solely by Sharia Law. One mustn’t wait until it is actually enforced, to admit that Libyans aren’t necessarily better off now than previously. In addition to the gruesome manner Gaddafi was killed, mass graves have been discovered in which civilians and business owners who had expressed support for the Gaddafi regime were executed and buried, thus proving the new regime will be equally or even more brutal than the previous one.

Despite all these negative results, the left is gloating and boasting over Gaddafi’s death and congratulating Obama’s foreign policy. Throughout the entire Libyan debacle they have disregarded the Gaddafi of the last decade and chose to support an unknown group comprised of many factions simply since they spouted lines of freedom and justice. Now, when disturbing details are emerging, they continue to revel in their victory. This is the result of governing by emotion rather than by careful consideration.

Neville Chamberlain, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1937-1940, declared after signing the Munich Agreement that; “War wins nothing, cures nothing, ends nothing...in war, there are no winners, only losers” and called it “Peace for our time.” Not much time passed before it became clear that appeasements don’t stall evil since it only whets their appetite for more. Having been granted significant portions of Czechoslovakia, it emboldened the Nazis to proceed forward and conquer the remainder of Czechoslovakia and Poland. Although at that point the United Kingdom, France and Russia declared war on Germany, it was too late to save the lives of millions as Germany succeeded in conquering most of Europe, thus proving Chamberlain wrong. For when there is no war, there is a winner. Although eventually defeated, Hitler had been the victor from WWII since he succeeded in reaching most of what he set out to do. 

If the Allies would’ve confronted and stopped him immediately after he annexed Austria or at least kept their word to protect the Czech, the mind-boggling figure of over fifty million lives could have been saved. However thanks to Hitler’s glib promises he convinced the other world leaders to sign the now-infamous Munich Agreement, while Chamberlain reassured his people via the use of some empty slogan.

It is clear that the liberals haven’t learned from their past mistake as evident in their constant demands for Israel to appease the Islamic extremists by handing over a portion of their land, only to follow thereafter with new demands for additional areas of land to be relinquished. In a sense, supporting the Arab Spring across the world when it is spurred by radical extremists is similarly an attempt to appease them with control over their countries in the hope that they remain satisfied with their loot. Time will still tell what the final results of Obama’s dangerous foreign policy will be.

The 2012 election are now a year away and it is imperative for people to be aware of what we will be battling. The ideology of glib talk, slogans, and emotions will battle intellect and reason. It will boil down to whether people will flow with the emotions or allow their brains to dominate over their heart. Acting based upon emotions is nice when deciding where to spend your charity funds, not when deciding who should lead the country and what type of policies should be enacted. A leader and a government must be able to present real solutions and follow intellect despite the protests of their hearts.
